Corona Lime Theatre

CASE  Design and production of a visual centrepiece evovling around the lime-cutting ritual of corona beer. The partybox is a beautifully weathered wooden box on the outside but once opened it initiates the lime-cutting ritual through finely calibrated, human-propelled mechanics.

The aim was to create a ritualistic conversation piece that places the act of lime-slicing in the centre of attention.

WHAT  The corona lime slicer or lime-theatre as it was nicknamed is decorated with laser-cut patterns on plywood panels. The box is designed to be transported on a delivery-bicycle.

IN USE  The lime-slicer is used continiously at Corona brand events in Sweden.

SUSTAINABILITY FACTOR The concept is low-impact on environment through resuse of old mechanical parts.
