CASE  Guringo developed a LEGO ™ - style, pallet-based construction-catalogue for unique event architecture. The catalogue includes visuals and easy to build step-by-step drawings of different architectural modules for events, like seating, bars, plantcarriers and backdrops. Construction is based on half size pallets because they are easy to handle and of human scale.

WHAT IT IS

• The concept is low-impact on environment and a do it yourself event-architecture system. As an experience concept the Corona pallet world engages users in two ways:

• The build - it´s fun and easy and has endless possibilities of combinations.

• The space - immersive objects that engage users to explore spaces.

The sustainability challenges where to make sure we didn´t deconstruct or damage any pallets. This was vital in order to maintain the circular loop of pallets – not dammaging or downgrading their function when they return to their usual usage as transport pallets

HOW IT WORKS The design toolbox consists of various typologies of interior elements such as seating, counters, dividers, tables and visual components such as applied graphics and signage systems. These typologies can be combined to create different spatial experiences depending on site and business model per site.

IN USE The pallet-world system has to date been used at the world skateboard championships in Malmö, in various music festivals and events around Sweden during 2017.

SUSTAINABILITY FACTOR The sustainability challenges where to make sure we didn´t deconstruct or damage any pallets. This was vital in order to maintain the circular loop of pallets – not dammaging or downgrading their function when they return to their usual usage as transport pallets
